Now Big Time was one of my favourite magazines to collect as a young teen. Released monthly, it kept 7-to-11 year olds updated with entertainment news from upcoming movies / TV shows, along with featured articles on popular singers / actors of the time, and all this with puzzles, free gifts and comic strips as a bonus.
How they printed the comics was interesting. They appeared to be completely separate from the rest of the magazine itself, so kids were allowed to "pull them out" and read them whenever and wherever they wanted (at least that's what my 12-year-old self kept telling me). And as such, I'm afraid I can't say much on who wrote or drew this particular entry as the Big Time magazine this was originally part of has been lost to time...
However, short it may well be, it's also a great little read, with some peachy-keen artwork to complement it. It's almost as if whoever wrote this had turned to Rudyard Kipling's original Jungle Book - or even the Just So Stories - as inspiration here. That's what I think anyway...
