Mike Pearse - Finders Keepers

In honour of the London 2012 Olympics, here's another fab Mike Pearse story from mid 2000 (when the Millennium dome was still "new" at the time):

  1. If you have the football issue can you please, PLEASE post it? I have all the other 'feature-length' stories by Mike Pearse and I absolutely love the guy. Kept me reading the Beano long after I'd outgrown the rest of it =)

    1. I have the football issue. It was always my fave! :D (I think it's called the big kickoff or something like that) I don't know how to post it here. :/

    2. You needn't worry, Anonymous and Anonymous - keep your eyebrows peeled for a blog about that sometime in 2013!

  2. Oh joy of joy of joys! I had totally forgotten this one and while flicking through, I felt all those lovely memories rushing back. I love it when the Bash Street Kids come up on top and Dennis gets his comeuppance, he's such a cocky little git!
Mike pearse has this lovely gift of Giving the kids seperate personalities yet acting as one, and they are a genuinely good hearted little lot. There's no animosity between them, they work as a group and when one is in trouble the kids really come together to help the other out. The Kids really need more spotlight put on them, I would fully support a cartoon made of these guys!
